I paid full price for this and worried it would arrive in pieces like other reviews had stated (on Amazon and babiesrus). Luckily nothing was broken on it and it looks perfect. The box it was in was severely damaged but because I ordered something else at the same time it shipped with it, creating the need for a larger outer box which may have been the saving factor. The wood is cheap and a pine color which goes good with my daughters new toddler bed but wouldn't with the crib that we'll now be using for our new one. I plan on ordering another one of these in the nojo jungle tales fabric for the nursery (if it's not bought off the registry) and have read that others had to stain or paint it since it really didn't match. This would actually be easy to do since the fabric holds to the wood by velcro and ties. Nice to know it's not already sewn on which would make it impossible to change the wood color if you wanted. All in all it's way too much to pay but a great addition to the room. If my Mom didn't buy the toddler bed set then I would have waited awhile when we had some extra cash to get this. We purchased the White colored dresser (and Kalani crib to match). I wouldn't say that this is the most high-end piece that I've seen, but at $329 it is an incredible value. It was extremely easy to put together and it feels very sturdy. The drawers do have gliders instead of bearings (like my Cocoon 5000 dresser). The design is perfect for a changing table. The little rasied drawer on the right will keep the baby from kicking the changing gear: very nice. The finish on the white version is really beautiful. We ended up buying some $0.97 wooden knobs from Home Depot and painting them pink to match the rest of our nursery. It's a very nice touch. Yes, you read it correctly, this co-sleeper, doesn't require assembly. Shocked to receive the box and it says no assembly, couldn't believe my eyes. The setup took less than 5 minutes to do, yes it was just that easy, didn't even need to open the manual, awesome. The actual crib / bassinet is big enough for up to 6 month baby, wish it was a bit wider, then it'll last even longer. The packing is very smart, I was able to pack it up and take it with me on a trip without a fuss, and the baby can sleep comfortably just like she is home. You don't really need to use the extra leg or wheels, some shorter beds will work better without it, and if you have a tall bed, then use the wheel and legs to make the co-sleeper taller to fit.

Overall an excellent constructed piece, secure feeling, smart design, good storage area, probably if there is one complaint would be the mattress is a bit on the thin side. I bought this crib and nursery furniture from a local store over 2.5 years ago and have LOVED it. I also felt that the construction was even better than my own bed. The wood is solid, sturdy, and has held up beautifully in the past 2 years. My only complaint is that it shows dust fairly easily but that is probably my own issue.

As others have stated, it does not come with the full size bed rails, which I purchased, but have not used. It also does convert to a daybed but does not come with a toddler guard rail. That also must be purchased separately. I would recommend buying both at the time of purchase because finding it later has been a little challenging. My little boy (now 2) would definitely prefer to have the guard rail, and other mesh rails do not seem to fit and are not as attractive.

The matching chest of drawers and dresser have also been wonderful. The drawers have an extra safety feature in that they have to be lifted up slightly to open so that little ones will have a little more difficulty opening. Of course a strong toddler can still open them.
