The dresser arrived fairly quickly, and we did get a call in advance from the frieght company to ensure that we'd be home the day of delivery. In our case, there was one driver, but he had a hand truck and was able to move the very large box over our doorway and into the living room ("over the threshold" was the policy told to me by the scheduler on the phone). This was more than we expected considering the problems I read about in other reviews. The extra effort required on our part to get the dresser upstairs was worth the cost savings for a piece of furniture made of hardwood (very hard to find in lower-cost baby furnishings). Only problem was that the combo door arrived damaged--the holes for one of the brackets had been stripped of all traction, so the screws fell out. There was no way I was returning this after the work it took to get it in the room, so we made it work (we moved the whole door down a cm or 2 and drilled new holes), but not all buyers would be satisfied with this solution, as visually you can tell the door is slightly off parallel with the drawers.
